Prevention Before, During and After Play
This class covers key infection control techniques that will help make
you and your bottom safer. The principal focus will be understanding
what bugs are out there, how they spread, medical conditions that
increase vulnerability, and the control of infection through proper
selection, use and care (e.g., cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilizing)
of nonporous toys. Since there is no one "right" approach to infection
control, we´ll discuss some commonly used alternatives and the related
trade-offs between cost, convenience and efficacy.
