Words of wisdom; don't try to learn this at home, by yourself, especially the breast infusions, until someone has mentored you through the process. That means learning how to handle the sterile ends of IV's, IV tubings, infusion sets, going through the actual steps to set up an IV and flush everything, making sure that other required items are laid out ahead of time, such as knowing where the prep, some sterile gauze, nitrile or latex gloves, and tape are. Health care folks make it look easy, but until a plan of action, like a checklist, is in effect, there'll be fumbling around.
Everyone I offered size of infusion guages selected the 18 g with 10 or 15 tubing. That may not always suit everyone, but it was interesting information that even my labial infusion bottom selected the largest tubing and infusion set. Your milage may vary.
