There are a few easy things you can do to reduce the risk of getting "swine flu". The most important:
• wash your hands frequently;
• use a hand sanitizer (such as Purell); and
• get the H1N1 vaccine if you're in a high risk group (eg,
pregnant, in close contact with babies under 6 months old, under 25
years old, at increased risk of complications arising from the flu or
are a health care worker).
See the CDC's 2009 H1N1 (Swine Flu) Web Site for more information.
