My play has gotten edgier over time, making my scene-safety job ever more important and complex. Infection, trauma, shock and more -- not good ways to end a scene.
Not surprisingly, there's very little formal research available on BDSM safety, so I want to share my own "risk management" practices. I make no pretense to be "the" expert on "the" right way to do things, but hope this site can be a springboard for your personal research on safer practices.
